CLASS ln the junior home room. one had an opportunity to renew many ol the old friendships formed during the previous school year, High school life had, by the second year. lost all of its strangeness: but being in the some home room increased, even more, one's sense of belonging Auditorium seats were changed to the tirst floor in significance of our in- creased prestige. The home room became the scene ot lastvminute study lor examinations and ol a last-minute brush OF 1954 ing up on memorized spot passages 'from Shalce- speare. The blue American history text and the Pocket Boolc editions of Shakespeare became la- miliar sights. Every six weeks, the home room became the scene ot either grief or joy as report cards were issued. As the school year nears its close, we look forward eagerly to assuming positions of leadership as the senior class. We hope to prove as capable as the class preceding us.
