Senior Officers Seymour Druskin, who was one of the three foot- ball captains and one of two editors of the Grist, was no doubt relieved to Hnd he was the only president for the class of '52. Between his other jobs including discus throwing for the track team, and those already mentioned, Sez managed to entertain his English class with his humor, eat pizza pie, and generally be a good Ioef' Having the cutest smile in the school was a valu- able asset to Noni Gillham, the secretary of the '52 class. Noni was the center of interest at the 1951 Homecoming game as its pretty queen. She was always complaining of being hungry while she was slaving away in Mr. Pulver's chemistry class. Every- one agreed that Noni was tops. Gerry Eisele, the able Veep, gained his first recog- E121 nition as ''Kissable-Lips-Fosterf' a tag received from the Ninth Grade Class Play, A Date With Iudyf' He also stole many a female heart as the janitor in the Senior Class Play. Gerry was the chairman and master of ceremonies at the Leadership Conference. A born athlete, he excelled on the football and track teams. The G. A. A. surely couldn't have gotten along without Geraldine's active membership. Carrie Robinson, following in the steps of her brother, lim, was treasurer of the Senior Class. Be- sides counting pennies, Carrie found time for many school activities. She was npeucil-pushern for French Club and was W3ShbLlfl1,S representative to Girls' State in her junior. Her classmates agreed she made a swell miser-fNote to style conscious girls-Carrie made most of her own clothesj.

THE TCW Voledicforions cmcl Scflufoforicms Row One: Gilbert, Grouse, Campbell, Mans. Row Two: Nelson, Horton, Corson, Litman. The Senior Board is the govern- ing body of the senior class. Each homeroom elects one representative to be on this board. Meeting every Monday morning with Mr. Krause, the senior advisor, these representa- tives discuss the many problems that pertain to the senior class. They set the rules for the elections of class officers, homecoming King and Queen and Attendants. They also set the dates for Class Day, school dances, and many other senior activi- ties. Senior Board The Senior Class of 1952 which takes top honors in the field of brains, has come forth with seven valedictorians and one salutatorian. The seven people who have main- tained a straight HAH average throughout their days at Washburii include: Betsy Campbell, Peggy Gil- bert, Iudy Grouse, Pharis Horton, Tom Litman, Shirley Mans, and Ronald Nelson. Wilfred Corson is honored by being the only saluta- torian. In addition to their scholastic achievement, these honored eight are all members of National Honor So- ciety and are active in eXtra-curricu- lar activities.
