Dick Gilmore and Ray Moen were +he firsl' fo graduale from Washburn in Army uniforms. The class elecled a+hle+ic Bud Hurd as +heir IZB and l2A presidenfg versafile Sara Maclvlichael as vice-presidenlg cu+e Jane? Carlson as secrelaryg and likeable Gordie Mclfinlay as lreasurer. Lorraine Wellzin, who ranked 'Firsf in +he class of one hundred eighly-'four sludenls, was valedic'roriang while Bob O'Kieffe was salu+a+orian in lhe class which had Jrhe fewesf number of honor sludenfs.
