The always popular French de- partment is represented by Miss Gear, Miss Holliday, and Miss Nord- quist. Miss Laird who has been teaching Spanish, relinquished her position to Miss Tupper upon her return from teaching in Montevideo, Uruguay. Miss Nordquist also teaches Spanish to meet the growing demand for this language. Latin is taught by Miss Smart and Mrs. Savage.
