An engrossing adventure in American literature carries through and completes the sophomore year. As a B junior, the student has an optional choice of the study of the methods and styles of news or literary writing. The remainder of the course includes a thrilling review of Shakespearels works and a tour through the enchanting ages of English literature, study- ing the poems, essays, and prose works of the English masters. O The laws and mysteries of higher mathematics which are necessary parts of many modern day occupations are revealed to students when taking one of the many math courses offered them. The hypotheses of Pythagoras and Archimedes come to light in the Plane and Solid courses, while the algebraic and trigonometric principles are divulged in the respective courses of algebra and trigo- nometry.
