eww fafwwg Our first impressions, instructions, and knowledge of Washburn's curriculum are gained in the Home Rooms. The tenth and the eleventh grades are divided into boy and girl advisories. Each group elects officers and other representatives necessary to carry on Home Room activities. The advisers help the students to plan individual programs with their future education and careers in view. Sportsmanship and Home Room spirit are promoted by intramural athletics. In the twelfth grade, the B seniors are combined into one large Home Room, while the A seniors meet in the auditorium. Class oiiicers are elected for each group. The school has found that three periods a week are sufficient for counseling and other necessary business. Thus, by limiting the auditoriums to the other two days, the time is used to the best possible advantage. 12B-325 Top Row: Atwood, Brand, Bar-' ron, Chaffee, Brown, Cawcutt, Bredesen. 0 Fourth Row: Athel- stan, Budde, Bennett, Conrad, B.
