FHA This Fall a new organization was started at Washburn, with seven chap'„r members. We have participated in various activities. In October, three members and one of our advisors attended a conference at Stevens Point entitled Wanted Healthy Babies. It was put on by FHA HERO and the March of Dimes. We also sold cookies at the homecoming game. Current Stationery, and cupcakes, to raise money to attend the convention. We plan to attend the State conference at Green Lake April 25-27. Homecoming Oct. 9, ”76” Homecoming 76 started out on a cold, windy Fall day, but that didn't seem to bother W.H.S.' Homecoming. There was a parade held on the morning of Oct. 9th. It wasn't very big, but the people seemed to enjoy every minute of it! Then the best moment of Home- coming came, when around 4:00 P.M. our GREAT W.H.S. Football team smashed the Ashland J.V. team with a score of: 27-0. That night we celebrated with the annual Homecoming Dance. Our theme was, IF. Our new queen and king were, Kathy Donahoe and Tom Olson.
