As energetic Sophomores we worked industriously to make our year a trying, but rewarding one. After many sessions of confusion we finally came up with a prize winning float; our theme was Mellen Juice on the Rocks. To start our year out right, we initiated the frosh. '' Class rings were selected in January. We are proud that many of our classmates partici- pated in extra-curricular activities. We had 5 girls on the cheerleading squad, 10 members in Forensics, and 5 girls are Majorettes. Other activities include music, sports, and various clubs and staffs. This year's money-raising events included numerous record hops, the selling of sweatshirts, and also the suc- cessful Sno Ball Hop. So we end our year, and look forward eagerly to our Junior year. zell, President. M. Lindsey, Treasurer: D. Holman, Vice- President; L. Embertson, Secretary; J. Bran- 30
