A FOND FAREWELL 1967, our big year, proved to be filled with all the glamour and good times that we expected. To start off with, we welcomed Vicki Lindstrom into our flock. Her addition increased the class membership to 29. Next we made acquaintances with the new teachers, fondly received our text- books, and quietly settled into the familiar school routine again. To help us obtain some financial prestige with our treasury, we scoured WASH- BURN, ASHLAND, and even BAYFIELD selling lightbulbs. As in preceding years we got rid of them without much difficulty. Then came the magazine sales, a moderate success, and last but certainly not least, the Tom Watt kits. Their mysterious contents, which proved to be anything from flashlights to mistletoes captured the imagination of all of our customers and made their sale quite successful. Finally the day dawned when each rosy-cheeked Senior packed his suitcase and made ready for the class trip. Minneapolis, though quite familiar to us all by now, proved to be as fun-filled and memorable as it must have been to all of its previous Senior visitors. We had some difficulty though, after the Ice Follies, in finding one of our members, but he used his head instead of his feet and beat us all back to the hotel. The long awaited day of Commencement finally arrived amid great pomp and ceremony when we were presented with scholarship and honor. Our class motto, Not Up the Ladder, but Still Climbing, truly reflected our present life and our future goals and dreams. , OAQQ 0mCER£ M. Malcheski, President; K. Peterson, Treasurer; S. Leino, Secretary; L. Swanson, Vice-President.
