, Y l classes have spent an hour each day, worlcing on their garments. They tools two trips to Balcerstield, where they purchased the mater- ials lor their worls. The band and its maiorettes, Barbara Bova, Gerry Parts, and Maxine Goertz, were praised 'lor their appearance at the Frontiers Day Parade. Eight students play- ed in the all-valley clinic band in Fresno. The Future Farmers sponsored a rodeo and barbecue, a boxing and wrestling tournament, a trip to Bass Late, a Christmas party, PHYSICS LABORATORY ' H -Wf- THE WASCONIAN :I T941 WOOD SHOP a bean teed, and other social parties. The girls' gym classes pertorm- ed belore the assembly some ot the dances they had learned in class. The senior girls became baslcetball champions in the night basletball games. The commercial students tools a trip to Balcerstield, where they visited the court house and iail. Several at the typists received pins tor being able to type litty words a minute with a minimum ot live errors. ln the English classes, the stu- dents had Theme Clubs in which they read their themes every weels.
