Many ol' them gained places on the lootluall, haskethall, and track squads. They also entered teams in the class tournament. The freshmen have not sponsored activities lliemselves, hut have cooperated with the other classes. Nellie llerhacli, an eighth grader, was one ol' the thirteen children ol' Ohio county who won their way to represent the county at the Newseliegister spelling hee at Ritchie school May 7.
