Two teams from this group participated in the class tournament and rep- resentatives from the class were found on both basketball and football squads. Mary Anderson, Margaret Almond, Elizabeth Svinarich, and Ruth Lucas were the sophomore students who made honor roll grades throughout the year. 21

Many of the boys from the class gained places' on the football and basketball squads. The freshmen boys were also successfull in winning the class tournament which was held in March. Henry Graybill. Betty Reed. and Gwyndola Pitzer were among the group who consistently made the honor roll. 23
