School begins. Bob and his staff present us with the first issue of High Times. Charles King presents W.H.S. with its first program. The band appears in their new uniforms at the first home game. Carolyn, Gordon, and Bob arrive home from their European excursion. Class officers were elected. Barbara Basile was chosen editor of the "56" Tiger. Sophomore and junior pictures were taken. !8 Teachers' Institute. The band sponsors "The Red Heads" basketball game. Open House for National Education Week. College Day. 16 "Tunerama" was presented by the vocal department and enjoyed by large crowds. Thanksgiving program presented by the speech department. Purdue legislature—Warsaw wins many honors. Football and Cross-counfry awards presented to the boys. Courtesy Week sponsored by F.H.A. Dave Phillips and Delores Stone chosen Mr. and Miss Courtesy. 14 Junior class ploy, "Sabrina Fair", scores a hit. Christmas vacation and the program presented by the vocal department. 8 Holiday Tournament at Noppanee—Warsaw wins. Classes resume after Christmas vacation and our world takes another spin. 2 Exams. Larry, Lynn, Sue, and lyn selected for A.F.S. 5 Mid-winter band concert also enjoyed by large crowds. Typing demonstration by Grace Phalan. Gymnastics program presented by "The Schmitts". Safety program. Exchange student program—Carolyn, Gordon, and Bob featured. 23, 24, and 25 Sectional Tourney at Syracuse—Warsaw wins! ! Program presented by Miss Marmein. Vocational decisions were made on Career Day. Our world broadens its views with Junior Town Hall. Spring vocal festival. High School Achievement Tests. Easter program presented by the band and vacation begins. Back to school again. Choir Tour. Our world meets other worlds in the Model U N. at Manchester College. Band goes on a western tour. Spring band concert. County Band Festival. ! Senior class play, "Love Is Eternal", immense success. Lettermen banquet with the Lions, Kiwanis, and Rotary Clubs. Vocal program presented to the high school. Baccalaureate. ?9 Final Exams. Class Day.
