Slighlly Iafer in lhe year a picnic was held in lhe Warsaw Parlc Pavilion for lne purpose of inifialing lhese Eve and a good 'lime was had by all. In Oclober a dance was held for lhe BIast's benefif, bul' was noi very successful. lnsfead of having several card parlies, as was +he cuslom in previous years, fhe Sfaff had one large one, which was quife successful. Floor and door prizes were given and refreshmenls were served. Several large shipmenls of exlra good candy were sold around lhe school wilh much reioicing from lhe sfudenl body. The Blasl unifed wilh Ihe Library Club lo hold a baked food sale in fhe old posl olilice building and laler Io hold a slunf nighl' in lhe gymnasium in which all sludenl organizalions and classes figured. Bofh lhese evenfs were a success. especially 'rhe slunl nighl, as lhe gymnasium was nearly filled lo overflowing. In addilion To The live members lalren in al 'rhe beginning of The year Iwo more were 'taken in. in January, bi? nor inifialed.
