I remember Don. He used to walk the halls in the mornings hunting someone to talk to. If there was someone standing in a corner alone, he would make a special effort to say something nice to them. This kindness made their day a little brighter. I also remember the times when a favor was neededp good old Don was right there. He never hesitated or asked whyg he iust did what was asked of him. You did not have to repay him with money either, lust a smile and a thank-you was all he asked. I ought to know, for many was the time I stood in thot lonely corner and his kind words lifted my spirits and many a favor did I ask that was unreasonable. But now he is gone: gone to a better place than any of us can ever imagine. I only hope that someday I can go too. A Friend II4
