Good-hy Mediter ln order to give our friends an idea of what a cruise of five months duration involves, the editor has gathered to- gether certain factssor statistics which will give a fairly good picture ofalvled- iterranean Cruise involving one des- troyer and two hundred and ninety men. From the out come, we can see that this certainly is no minor operation. Q15 The Warrington consumed 1,829,439 gallons of fuel during the Mediterranean Cruise. Q25 Total engine miles covered were 27,648 miles. Q35 The Warrington crew consumed 4,000 lbs. of coffee and 7,000 loafs of bread. Q45 Each man, on the average stood 1126 hours of watch. Q55 Six babies were born while the Warrington was over seas. Q65 The crew suffered through 487 water hours. Q75 Total of rounds fired, both three inch and five inch were, 425.
