DECATHLON WINNER JOHN GILBERTSON The decathlon contest which is the first track event in the spring, was established three years ago. A11 boys are eligible to participate. The boy Winning the most points in the contest, which consists of ten track and field events, wins the single honor of having his name engraved on the deeathlon trophy. The honor was won in 1940 by Adler Strand- quist and in 1941 by John Gilbertson. 1 Dana Allen, Arnold Melin, Marvin Eukel, Howard Lamberson, Orvelle Pletsch, Clyde Culver, John Gilbertson.

GIRLS' ATHLETIC ASSQCIATIQN, The Girls' Athletic Association, whose pur- pose is to further interest in good sportsmanship and athletic activities for girls from the ninth grade through the senior year, progressed rapidly under the direction of Miss Skov. 'On Saturday, November 15, the G. A. A. attended Play-day at Thief River Falls, at which the Warren girls succeeded in Winning most of the contests entered. A spring banquet was given to initiate the girls who had earned the required points. Officers: President, Amy Haugeng Vice- president, Enid Ovsak, Secretary-treasurer, Darina Slusar.
