Christmas Choraloque with Tableaux One of the most outstanding presenta- tions of the high school band, chorus, and other vocal groups is their an-nual Christ- mas cantata. Following a concert of Christmas music by the band and the brass ensemble under the direction of Mir. Nordvold, the mixed chorus and vocal groups director, Miss Sitz, presented the Annunciation, the Vision of the Shepherds, and the Visit of the Magi, in form of a choralogue. Illustrating these episodes, tableaux produced by Mr. Barneck and Miss Her- bison had the appearance of sculptured marble statues against a background in which the colors were supplied by lights.

Pep Band In the fall of '41 Mr. A. 0. Nordvold, band instructor, organized a Girls' Pep Band, which played at both home and out-of-town games. They also performed at pep fests and other activities. Crchesira At the Junior Carnival .this year a main attraction was the Warren High Orchestra. It was composed of band members and instrudtedi by Mr. Nordvold.
