Class of '43 Forty-nine friendly, jovial, and easy-going students comprise the junior class. Their ability to get along and be happy is, perhaps, their best achievement. This class has proved itself quite outstanding in athletics and other extra-curricular activities. The junior carnival with the theme, A Mexican Fiesta, was re- portedly a success. Its prominent feature was the one- act play, Be Home By Midnight. Clarinda Oberg' was chosen candidate for queen of the junior carnival in 1940. The representative this year was Lyla Urtes.
