Everything from burning cuffs to I hate girls was seen on the boys senior cords this year. Long consideration was given on how to decorate them. Then great strides were taken to have every line perfectly drawn. Although cords were very popu- lar with the boys this year, no se-nior skirts were seen on the girls. joe Covey and Steve Carroll, seniors, show their masterpieces while jim Fredericks snaps their picture. -. V-N Calorie counting? Well, not today, anyway. Both mothers and daughters forget all about their diets on the day of the Valentine Tea. This year they had the added pleasure of being served in Warren Central's newly completed cafeteria. ur Annual Each February we know it is the day for our Annual Valentine Tea when we hear the clicking of heels resounding through the halls. This year was the 27th consecutive year for this tradition. This day is set aside in honor of our mothers by the girls of the school. It is sponsored by the Warrenettes and the National Beta Clubs. First on the program for the afternoon was the escorting of the mothers, by the girls, through the receiving line. A musical program was then given by the music depart- ment with the theme W7hat is a Girl. The girls and their mothers went to the cafeteria where they en- joyed the delightful refreshments pre- pared by the home economics depart- ment. r i A Wovs'! says Torn Armstrong, senior, as he eyes Carol Fredericks, junior. Carol is dressed up for the Mother and Daughter Valentine Tea. The tea has been a tradition at Warren Central for 28 years. Valentine Tea I - f No tea is complete without cookies and sandwiches. This is the scene that greeted the eyes of those who attended the Valentine Tea, The purposes of the tea are to honor the mothers of National Beta and X5C'arrenette members andto give the mothers a chance to become better acquainted with the organizations and the school.
