SENIQR CLASS PRCPHECY As I gaze into my crystal ball, in the mists I see before me the fate of the seniors of 1953. The time is 1967. As I was boarding a plane for New York, who do you think I saw as stew- ardess? Mrs. Carol Hay! Beulah Hay, poor girl, is still waiting for Bob. Iris Jackson is decorating her ranch type home on Hurricane. Clifford Fields and Jean Hughes have now tied the knot and have four little knotheads! The former Lorene Ashby is helping her son, Weston, get ready for the Soap Box Derby. Yes! Glen Roy Tolley and Alyce Gandee have now sniffed the orange blossoms after a long wait. . Charles Brisendine and Randall Hay are successful farmers out Ambler way. Garvin and Garlen Raines are, still trying to explain to their clients which one is which! Roger Mikeal is now star first baseman for the New York Yankees. The Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus have seen Mayford Pence. He is now there new stunt man. Wanda Hargus and Gaye Tolley have become librarians in Washington. Betty's Candies is the new candy shop on Park Avenue. The manager is Betty Rhodes. The Powers Modeling Agency has added a new model, Marlene Neal. Phyllis Green has her R.N. degree and is sailing for Japan soon. Bill Taylor has become boss of the ditch digging crew of the Pipeline Corporation. Saralee Hunt and Virginia Harper are successors of Dorothy Dix. Raymond Seabolt is trying to sell refrigerators to the Eskimos. Harold Detamore is becoming famous in Hollywood for his performance in Detty's Adventures in a Wastebasket. Bill Droddy and Mary Abbott are the physical education instructors. Dale Kiser formed an organization to teach vocational agriculture students the long and the short of parliamentary procedure. Doris Keffer is the chief cook in the school cafeteria. Don Foster has resigned his job at the Hadacol Company. Says he, everybody is well now! Carless Phillips is the auctioneer at the Spencer Livestock Exchange. r Ralph Parker, our live wire, is a successful mop manufacturer. Ivan Donohoe is working on a strongergand more powerful paper wad shooter. Bob Payne is trying to work up a revision of ping pong rules. The Kleane Kut Razor Company has elected Bill Humphreys as their demonstration agent. Charles Robinson is inventing a device to straighten curly hair and Tommy Humphreys test it. h x The Bachelor's Blues is a popular ditty these days. The crooners? Why, Hubert Green and Jarrett Keffer, of course. Barbara Greenleaf and Margaret Kee have won a singing contract. Their winning song was none other than How Could You Get Along Without Me? The title Miss Right Arm of 1967 has been given to Betty Jones. Betty Westfall gave her a cheer for further success. Betty Starcher just won the title Miss Pretty-eyed Baby. Rosemary Steele is now private secretary to Attorney James E. Lowe. ' ' Running for president is our own David Cox. Ruth West has just over-ruled Margaret Chase Smith in the Senate. Now my crystal ball becomes misty and my classmates have faded from view. Will these things come to pass? Well, we'll see. . . 19 ' J
