'--my-,., In this book the Tartan staff has attempted to capture the many faces of Walnut Ridge. Although we realize it is impossible to portray all we would have liked to within these pages, it is hoped that in years to come the Tartan will stir your memory. Though some of these memories may be disappointing and others beautiful, we all can agree that this has been an interesting year-Faces and places and things we have done. At this time l would like to give due thanks and appreciation to a few special people . . , Chris Casey, my right hand. l could never tell you how much I appreciate all of the help you gave me! Mrs. Susan Neininger, Tartan Advisor, and Mr. Wes Mirick, Paragon Representative, Your numerous hours of advice and help have made this book what it is! lt has been a tough year for me, but you've both made my job easier. Your marvelous cooperation and interest is beyond what I could possibly say. To the portion of the staff who worked dilligently and patiently throughout the year, goes my thanks. And last, but certainly not least, to those few who were always willing to help when an emergency arose, thank you. We have left an old year and are venturing into a new and more challenging one. lt's a bit exciting. . .a bit frightening. . .as the images unwind, Like the circles that you find, in the Windmills of your mind!
