The Walnut Ridge Student council tried to get involved with many activities this year. Due to the increased enrollment of the school, the Council was reduced in size in order to accomplish more. Membership was limited to ten members from the junior and Senior Class and twelve members from the Sophomore Class. The Council formed many committees to check into such matters as the traffic and dress code problems, curriculum at Walnut Ridge and the Peace Corps program. Council also sponsored the Scots Are Back buttons that were worn at many school activities this year!
