The students were sponsored by organizations including the American Field Service and the Youth for Understanding programs. Funds and sup- port for these student exchanges came from the efforts of the International Club. The In- ternational Club contains representatives from each third period class. Sarah Stauderman This yeafs Senior High Musical was Roger's and Hammersteink South Pacific. Under Vicki Welsh,s expert direction, the show was a fabulous success. With the strong support of vocal Director Ben Basone and Orchestra Director Daniel Rumer, Mrs. Welsh managed to guide the huge cast through two and one-half months of strenuous rehearsals culminating with a conclusion through an unprecedented push of publicity, including a performance on Fountain Square and two performances for elementary and high schools. The play managed to become the most successful show in the memories of its audiences and it showcased the talent of Walnut Hills, students. 30 Activities x
