Harvard Model U. N. Harvard Model United Nations is one of the more prestigious political organizations at Walnut Hills. A delegation of select dipiomatic individuals fly to Beston where they Join a horde of students from far away places. They assume the roles of world leaders and pretend to solve the woridis problems. A good time is had by all and interesting issues are raised though few real prob- lems are solved This yeax's delegation included three veterans of other HMUNis. three rookies and our pal and leader Roger Larch iwho did, by the way yell greetings with us to Steve and Cheri from a twelfth floor hotel roomJ Besides the scheduled activlties this year's delegates enjoyed other things such as watching neat movies on cable television and searching high and low for Cheri who always seemed to be missing. The students were sponsored by organizations including the American Field Service and the Youth for Understanding programs. Funds and sup- port for these student exchanges came from the efforts of the International Club. The In- ternational Club contains representatives from each third period class.
