A progressive study of mathematics is offered at Walnut Hills. Beginning with arithmetic. it later introduces Algebra. Geometry, and higher mathematics, including Calculus. The evidence of 'Man's 1n- humanity to man' is no 1955 in this century than in any other. Some of the worst atroci- ties and wars have occurred in this century, and science has been perverted to such uses. The lesson is clear: Either we learn to live with and to use science soundly, or science will help to destroy us . . . To be a better student. and a better citizen in this world of science, 'to love thy neighbor as oneself is therefore more essential them ever . . . Be also ready and the mastery shall be yours.
