This change will obviously bring about greater international travel and cooperation. However. there can be no cooperation unless there is also a niutual understanding between the peoples ol' all the nations. As a step toward this greater understanding. many pupils ol' XValnut Hills enrolled in the French. German, and Spanish classes. XVe learned the language and customs ol' these countries. 'llhrough a study of the literature. history. and art of our world neighbors we became acquainted with their culture and discovered that it was not so dillerent lroni our own. VVhen we travel to liurope and South .-Xnierica, after peace has been estabf lished. we shall carry these ideas with us. Until the da' arrives when there is one universal lan- 5 guage. we must speak the languages of niany countries in order to cooperate and work with thein to build a iust and lasting peace.
