The Student Council is really the students ' council, for any pupil may bring his prob- lem to the Executive Committee ' s weekly meetings. For their wise counsel, the Stu- dent Council is greatly indebted to the fac- ulty advisers. Miss Curtis and Mrs. Gal- breath. 57 SENIOR COUNCIL.. GIRLS ' LEAGUE .. STUDENT COURT The Senior Council, a group of five senior girls, works as Miss Clarke ' s right hand , as an agency for greater contact with girls of the school through its five departments. Big Sisters, House and Grounds, Miss Clarke ' s office. Ushers ior school functions, and Student Aid. The Girls League, under Miss Clarke ' s able guidance and open to every girl in the school, holds monthly meetings in which many different girls participate. Thus all the girls contribute to a real girls ' league. The Student Court is a group of four sen- ior and three junior boys whose purpose is to promote harmony between the faculty and the students and to aid in student dis- cipline. In a quiet way, the Student Court helps students to fit in school life. 58 Helen Fiai lieim. Dorolhy Jones, Gary Scliwalj, Jane Gnld. Miss Clarke. Mary Lois Broomell Not on Pictnre Nancy Moore.
