WALNUT TREE 1978-1979 Walnut High School Presents Vol. 43 Community District No. 508 Gina Smith Janet Hardesty Walnut, Illinois 61376 Editor Co-Editor Dedication Ml This 43rd edition of the Walnut Tree is dedicated to Mr. Charles F. Thirteen years ago, what were then little feet carried you to your first school experience in kindergarten. Now, thirteen years later, the world becomes yours for the taking—grade school and high school are behind you. What will your world be like? What form will you use to mold your lives? You have reached a milepost, but not an end. The forming and molding are still ahead of you. Your education has merely begun —much of it lies ahead. Use what you have learned to build your future, and, most important, continue to learn. Let your motto be the title of a popular graduation-time song—“We’ve Only Just Begun.” Best wishes.
