Class Prophecy 59 Dear Patt1 I could hardly walt to wr1te to you about my marvelous tour of the resort areas of the solar system It all began when I won the t1tle of M1ss Green Cheese of 2059 Thls was qulte an honor because It was on a solar w1de basls I was ln competxtlon wlth such beauty queens as M1ss Neptune who IS none other than Lmda Kruse who has been teacher there smce the U S establlshed the1r Rocket Academy for men M1ss Jup1ter who was none other than Barb Weber who has been hvmg there s1nce Marvm Neahr1ng establ1shed an Agrlcultural Expenment Stat1on to estabhsh Jet propelled mxlklng machmes and M1ss Saturn better known as M1ss Ramona Llvey who IS now coachmg a boys basketball team My clothes were excluslvely deslgned by Anna DeWaele and Dessa Schoaf who ran an ellte dress shop on our new satelllte statlon An outf1t modeled by Ada Hexdenrelch especlally caught my eye I-Ier hat was unlque ln that It was entlrely of radlum Melanie Polson who had recently returned from her m1ss1onary work on the cold planet of Mercury was modelmg the natlve costume of the Mercurltes there As I entered the Grand Solar Station on our satelllte I accldently bumped 1nto my old classmate Carolln Heltzler She IS now marrled and the mother of thlrteen lxttle green monsters At last I began my lllustrlous tour of the planets My pllot was Don Wallace who had gxven up tractor draggmg 1n favor of a faster mode of travel My dmner was brought to me by a devastatmg young hostess Marlene Kasten It accldentally spllled on the lap of the person seated next to me Kelth W1llstead who was now a great novehst He had just f1n1shed a book called Farmmg Can Be Fun The great farm cr1t1c Rodney Von Holten has censored It as too funny for the common farmer My flrst stop was Mars where I v1s1ted the Mars Candy Factory Who should be work1ng there but Agnes Gugerty and Bob Ward Contmumg on I covered a lot of terr1 7 a 0 - s 7 . - - . .
