NATO exercise Rosie - Rosie and Maltese - Rosie kept us busy plane guarding replenishing at sea, screening and air controlling. Not only were we being observed by COM- SIXTH Fleet, the energetic Admiral QCatl Brown, but the Chief of Naval Operations Arleigh Burke had come to the Med to watch our maneuvers. The greatest single honor of our cruise came on the morning of 26 June when Admiral Burke's four star flag flew from our mast.
