Senior Class history On September 5, 1950 we entered our first year in junior high school with an enrollment of forty-seven students. The following officers were chosen: President, Tommy Chrislip, Vice-President, Florence Golden, Secretary, Barbara Ogden, Treasurer, Aritha Pigott. Our class cheer- leaders were Agnes Ash, Joan Sullivan, and barbara Ogden. Our class flower was the red rose, our class motto was, uLet the Girls Lead and the Boys Follow.' Mr. Arumenacker was our sponsor. On September 4, 1951 we entered our second year of junior high school with an enrollement of forty-one students. We elected the following officers, President, Avanell Lindsey, Vice-President, Howard Shriver, Secretary and Treasurer, Aritha Pigott. Our class cheerleaders were Florence Golden, Joan Sullivan, azd Tommy Chrislip. Our Flower was tne orchid, the class bird was the mJailbird,n the motto, WLets All Stick Together.n Our Sponsor was Mr. Ashcraft. On September 5, 1952 we entered our first year of nign school with an enrollment of thirty-six. The following off- icers were chosen President, Laddie Smith, Vice-President Avanell Lindsey, Secretary and Treasurer, Aritha Pigott. Our class cheerleaders were, Barbara Ogden, Shirley Ashcraft, Joan Sullivan and Agnes Ash. Our class colors were red and yellow. Our flower was the red rose, and the bird was yellow canary. Our class motto was Wunited we Stand uivided we Fell.n Mr. Ashcraft was our sponsor. On September 1, 1953 we entered our Sophomore year with an enrollment of thirty-five. The following officers were chosen: President, Laddie Smith, Vice-President, Jack Heldreth, Secretary and Treasurer, David Pigott. Our Class cheerleaders were: Avanell Lindsey, Agnes Ash, Joan Sullivan, and Sue Mcbaniels. Our colors were black amd white. Our flower was the white rose and our bird was the nbo Do B1rd.n Our class Motto was mUnited we Stand Divided we Fall.u Mr. Allman was our Sponsor. On September 7, 1994 we entered our junior year with an enrollment of thirty-one. The following officers were chose: Preside t, Aritha Pigott, Vice-President, Laddie Smith, Sec- retary, winifred Dean, Treasurer, Samdra Ashcraft. Our class cheerleaders are Joan Sullivan, Agnes Ash, and Avanell Lindsey Our colors are green and white, our flower is yellow rose, and our bird is Yellow Canary. Our motto is HQuiters Never Win and Winners Never Qu1t.n For the Junior Play we S616Ct6Q nTattle- talen by Anne Coulter Mortens. It was presented December Mtn at 6:00, P.M. We also sold billfolds to earn money for our WJunior Senior Banquet.n As we entered our last and final year of high school, the following officers were selected. Presidnet, Aritha Pigott, Vice President, Laddie Smith, Secretary, David Pigott, and Treasure, Thomas Upton. Our class colors are pastel and the cheerleaders are, Avanell Lindsey, Shirley Dennison, Agnes Ash, and Joan Sullivan. Pastel Roses are our class flowers. Our Motto is, nToday is our Foundation, Tomorrow is our Goal.n We recieved our class rings September 23. Sayer's came to take our pictures on November 17. We recieved them in December Our class play was held on Aoril 6, 1956. The title of it was HFeudin Over Yonderu, a hillbilly comedy by Le Roma Rose. The Junior-Senior Banquet was held May 12. Our Baccal- aureate Serman will be on Sunday hay 20, Class Night and Recap tion May 21, and Commencement, Friday May 25.
