Senior Class History We entered our Freshman year at Waalace High on September 6, 1951. Mrs. Smith was our sponsor. The following officers were elected: President, Pat Husteadg Vice President, Charles Webb, se and Treasurer, Glen Hill. Our Sophomore year, the boys took over as officers with Bill Baker as President, Glen Hill as Vice-fresident, Secretary, Carl Clayton and Treasurer, Ronald Shriver. Our Junior year brought us new officers and a new program on which to work. We started by selling magazines and J. Eddie candies. Our play, NThe Haunted Chair,W was presented in the early part of March, and the Junior-Senior Banquet was scheduled to be held in the spring. The total members of our class was twenty-two. Officers were: President Pat Hustead, Vice-President, Shirley McKenna, Secretary, Shelby McCullough, Treasurer, Glen Hill. We entered our Senior year at Wallace High, with a task nearly completed. We elected the following officers: President, Barbara Dean, Vice- President, Carl Clayton, Secretary, Deloris Wetzelg Treasurer, Bill Baker. Class colors, are pastel. Our Class Motto, NLaunch Out into the Deep.n We held a weiner roast in September at the Point Pleasant Park at Brown with several attending. we received our class rings September 17. Class pictures were taken October 18. We received them Dgcember 6. We ordered our announcements November 1 . Our class play was held on March 25, 1955. The title of it was WAunt Cathie's Cat,v a mystery- comedy by Felicia Metcalfe. if:

Class Will Be it known to all persons, that we, the Senior Class of 1955 of Wallace High School in the county of Harrison, in the state of West Virginia, being of lawful age, and a few of us being of sound mind and good Judgement and being in a better mood than usual do will the following to our sucessors': To Mr. Hill, we leave Peace quiet, and contentment, and gratitude for his constant help and encouragement throughout the years. To our teachers we leave all our patience and many thanks for their understanding and the help they have given us. To the dear, old School building we leave all our paper wads and waste paper and the memories of the best four years of our lives. To the junior class we leave all our old workbooks and bookkeeping papers and a book entitled, 'Manners', To the sophomore class we leave our share of the halls. To the freshmen class we leave paper wads and bubble gum. To the seventh and eight grades we leave all our courage and will-power. I, Jim Loar, will to Ronnie Shuman my ability to please all my girlfriends at one timg, I, Bill Baker, will to Frances Rogers my ability to get into all the ball games free of charge. I, Carl Clayton, will to Jim McCormick my ability to flirt with the girls. I, Richard Cumberledge, will to everyone, my ability to watch my mistakes and not get caught skipping. I, Helen Crouse, will to Ruby Ann Allen my ability to get in to mischief and not get caught. I, Ramona Bramer, will to Judy Hill my share of the car seat to all ball games. Good luck in finding a way. I, Barbara McCormick, will to Patty Coburn my ability to always make passing grades through high school. I, Elizabeth Lambert, will to Lula Swiger my seat at the piano bench. I Shirley Bramer, will to my sister, Geraldine, her chance ro be a senior.
