NHS, PHOTO CLUB and MYRIAD Membership in the Sigma Omega Chi Chapter of the National Honor Society is the highest honor Wall High can bestow on its students. Mr. Deuchar is the Honor Society's advisor, and he is aided by President Leonard Giles, Vice-President Valerie Hansen, Secretary Patti Meade and Treasurer Lois Moore. The Honor Society raised money for their annual scholarship this year by selling popcorn at home football games, holding dances after basketball games, and selling Christmas cookies to the faculty. The Photography Club, guided by Mr. Sarr, learns the basic guidelines of photography through slides, films, and valuable darkroom experience which students can gain at their leisure. This year, what was not covered in school was supplied by field trips to New York City and to Fort Monmouth's Photo Division. The Myriad, literary magazine of Wall High, serves as an outlet for the student's creative writing. Editors Richard Friedel and Orangee Schoch supervised the publication. .5 , i NHS OFFICERS: Treasurer Lois Moore, President Lenny Giles, Secretary Fatt Meade, and Vice President Val Hansen. ff .
