The officers of the Boys' Leaders' Corps this year were Glenn Palmer, President, Mark Roberts, Vice-President, Lew Thomp- son, Secretary and Mike Jones, Treasurer. The Leaclers' Corps' main activity this year was the sponsoring of a basketball game at which the Harlem Satellites slaughtered the Faculty All-Stars. A ca- pacity crowd was on hand to share in the fun and excitement of the game. The Girls' Leaders' Corps was very ac- tive this year. Besides helping to sponsor the Faculty-Satellites game, the Corps also assisted in gym classes, awarded a scholarship, and held a club picnic in May. The officers for the club, under the supervision of Mrs. Cosse, are President Kathy Bernokeits, Vice-President Judy Jet- frey, Secretary Kim Copeland and Treas- urer Dorothy Van Wart. LATIN and FRENCH CLUBS The French CIub's trip to Haiti was well worth the seven months of hard work and planning it took. The club spent six days and five nights in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Students raised money through the second annual Tombola in December and a spaghetti din- ner in March. Mrs. Kamm is the club's advisor. Its officers are: Co-Presidents Nancy Cash and Donna Cooke, Vice-President Orangee Schoch, Treasurer Evelyn Smith, and His- a torian Jean Hecht. The Latin Club took a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and club members matched their pro- ficiency in Latin with students all over the country in the National APSL Latin Test. Guest speakers appeared at several of their meet- ings, and the year ended for the Latin Club with their annual Roman Banquet, a dinner at which freshman slaves are auctioned. FRENCH CLUB Co-Presidents Donna Cooke and Nancy Cash.

NHS, PHOTO CLUB and MYRIAD Membership in the Sigma Omega Chi Chapter of the National Honor Society is the highest honor Wall High can bestow on its students. Mr. Deuchar is the Honor Society's advisor, and he is aided by President Leonard Giles, Vice-President Valerie Hansen, Secretary Patti Meade and Treasurer Lois Moore. The Honor Society raised money for their annual scholarship this year by selling popcorn at home football games, holding dances after basketball games, and selling Christmas cookies to the faculty. The Photography Club, guided by Mr. Sarr, learns the basic guidelines of photography through slides, films, and valuable darkroom experience which students can gain at their leisure. This year, what was not covered in school was supplied by field trips to New York City and to Fort Monmouth's Photo Division. The Myriad, literary magazine of Wall High, serves as an outlet for the student's creative writing. Editors Richard Friedel and Orangee Schoch supervised the publication. .5 , i NHS OFFICERS: Treasurer Lois Moore, President Lenny Giles, Secretary Fatt Meade, and Vice President Val Hansen. ff .
