LATIN and FRENCH CLUBS The French CIub's trip to Haiti was well worth the seven months of hard work and planning it took. The club spent six days and five nights in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Students raised money through the second annual Tombola in December and a spaghetti din- ner in March. Mrs. Kamm is the club's advisor. Its officers are: Co-Presidents Nancy Cash and Donna Cooke, Vice-President Orangee Schoch, Treasurer Evelyn Smith, and His- a torian Jean Hecht. The Latin Club took a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and club members matched their pro- ficiency in Latin with students all over the country in the National APSL Latin Test. Guest speakers appeared at several of their meet- ings, and the year ended for the Latin Club with their annual Roman Banquet, a dinner at which freshman slaves are auctioned. GERMAN and SPANISH CLUBS GERMAN CLUB OFFICERS: Vice-President Kathy MCC ossan Treasurer B ll Hopkins President Jeanne Snook German Club officers include President Jeanne Snook, Vice-President Kathy McCrossan, Secre- tary Sue Smith and Treasurer Bill Hopkins. The German Club helped plan and sponsor the an- nual Language Clubs Dance. The Spanish Club's Executive Board underwent a number of changes this year. Only two otti- cers remain. They are John Gray, President and Donna Darcy, Vice-President. As a fund-raising project, the members sold subscriptions to lead- ing magazines.

The officers of the Boys' Leaders' Corps this year were Glenn Palmer, President, Mark Roberts, Vice-President, Lew Thomp- son, Secretary and Mike Jones, Treasurer. The Leaclers' Corps' main activity this year was the sponsoring of a basketball game at which the Harlem Satellites slaughtered the Faculty All-Stars. A ca- pacity crowd was on hand to share in the fun and excitement of the game. The Girls' Leaders' Corps was very ac- tive this year. Besides helping to sponsor the Faculty-Satellites game, the Corps also assisted in gym classes, awarded a scholarship, and held a club picnic in May. The officers for the club, under the supervision of Mrs. Cosse, are President Kathy Bernokeits, Vice-President Judy Jet- frey, Secretary Kim Copeland and Treas- urer Dorothy Van Wart. Louis Thompson and Mike Jones of the Boys' Leaders BOYS' and GIRLS' LEADERS' CORPS 1 Corps. LEADERS CORPS sponsored the Harlem Sattellites.
