FUTURES CLUBS YJ tl FUTURE HOMEMAKERS OFFICERS: President Sue Parzick, Vice President Denise Johnson, Secretary Debbie Matteson and Treasurer LaVerne McClellan. FUTURE NURSES: Denise Massey, Program Chairman, Betty Markowitz, Vice President and Kathy White, President. V ., The Future Homemakers, under the direction of Mrs. Bower and Mrs. Drudik, work toward a pro- motion of self-improvement through good groom- ing and invite guests to the school to speak on make-up, hairstyling, and posture. The Future Nurses not only worked in the Health Room, but also raised money selling candy and programs at home football and basketball games. This money went towards a scholarship fund and a trip in April. ln addition to their trip to Montclair State Col- lege and their annual Spring Tea, the Future Teachers instituted several new activities this year. These included tutoring, a teacher assist- ance program, and a scholarship. Mrs. Sneath is the club's advisor, and she is aided by Pres- ident Pat Mahoney, V. President Patti Meade, Sec. DRAMA CLUB OFFlCERS: Mark Megill, Barbara Daniel and Lynn Donnelly. Th Drama Club's first production was BIP, con sisting of Mr. Bean, Impromptu, and Passionella. The Wizard of Oz, a special children's presenta tion was played before a Saturday morning au dience. A trip to New York to see Man of La Man cha and the spring musical, Carnival, ended a busy year under Mr. Brennan's direction. President Donald Fischer, Vice-President Philip Linke, Treasurer David Newman and Secretary Michael Chase presided over a Chess Club whose size almost doubled since last year. Advised by Mrs. Weiss, the club met after school in the li- brary to practice for various tournaments and competition. DRAMA CLUB and CHESS TEAM MRS. fi- --- The Senior Class' first proiect of the year was constructing a float for WaII's first Homecoming cele- bration. They contributed to the Junior-Senior play, Carnival, and the Thomas Kuta Memorial Schol- arship, established by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Chester Kuta. The Senior Banquet, held in June, was the high point of their last year at Wall. The Junior-Senior Prom was the main concern of the Junior Class this year. Held at the Barclay in Belmar, it was a huge success. The I969-'I97O officers were Harry Morris, President, Mike Fee- han, Vice-President, Diane Cri- santi, Secretary and Mary Ann Cantillo, Treasurer.
