A brief stop in Sasebon On May ioth, WALKER and the task group arrived in Sasebo in southern Kyushu, Japan, for a tour day stop before heading south. The center of world interest because of the incidents in the Sea of Japan, WALKER was met in the harbor by boats and helicopters carrying members of the Japanese press corps.
