Membership is limited to students who can perform from the Rubank Advanced Band Method Vol. 'I or the equivalent. In cases where the balance of sections must be a consideration, only the most advanced students will be accepted. The Symphonic Band meets regularly durin the school day, but the bangs repertoire is extensive and difficult creatin the need for many after sciool rehearsals during the course of a school year. When performances are sc eduled, such as the Christmas and Sprin Concerts, several after school reqmearsals are called. Students who are placed in the Symrphonic Band must attend these ater school rehearsals as programs of the highest musical value cannot be developed without them.
