Porto, Captain The squad's activities begin before the official football season opens. The Cheerleading Squad's first involvement is the participation in the clinic held at Glassboro College. This year, spirits ran high and the squad was awarded the Spirit Stick. The sduad strives to keep the spirits o the spectators high so t at this ebulience might be transmitted to the team. The cheerleaders' success in heightening the games' atmosphere greatly increases the drive toward victory. Aside from cheering at games, the cheerleaders ead chants and cheers around the bonfire, and sponsor the sock hop. K. McClatchey, Co-Captain

Color Guard The Color Guard squad completes the performance of the band and majorettes with its colors and marching routines. This year the squad took part in the Herald News Band Festival and made a fine showing under the direction of its advisor, Miss Marsha Blum.
