Spanish Club The Spanish Club is composed of Sophomores and juniors who are either Level III or Level IV Spanish. The club's purpose is to foster and promote interest in Spain and its language outside of the academic, classroom situation. The Spanish Club has co-operated with the French and German Clubs in an International Christmas Party. The Club also took a trip to a Spanish restaurant and sampled its cuisine. French Club The purpose of the Advanced French Club is to stress the importance of French as a universally communicative and culturally prestigious language, and as a great intellectual and social influence on the rest of the world. its goals are to further develop an appreciation for French culture, to provide an opportunity for students to ractice the French language outside of class, andyto enable former students of French to continue their interests in the language and culture. This year's activities have included the presentation of scenes from Le Bourgeois C-entilhomme , an International Christmas Party in conjunction with the other foreign language groups, a trip to New York for lunch and a French ilm, and the annual banquet at the end of the year.
