Each level of study ad- vances along three common learn- ing techniques: reception, reflection and expression. The gloal in English is the mastery of t e disciplined skills in thinking and communicating. In addition to the basic courses, the Department offers semester elec- tives in journalism, Public Speaking, and Drama as well as a Mini-course in units of ten weeks on Philosophy and Literature. MR.
