Tuomala, T. Sehr, D. Ireland. The Science Fiction Club meets bi-weekly to discuss science fiction novels, stories, and movies. The club sponsors movies throughout the year, one of which was, 'Burn, Witch, Burn . A fan magazine, known as a fanzine, is being contemplated with articles to be written by the members of the club and other interested students. Science Fiction lub New wave versus old wave is just one of the literate topics discussed by the imaginative Science Fiction Club. While traditionalists think of Science Fiction in terms ofbug-eyed monsters and flying saucers, members of the Science Fiction Club have become aware of the more innovative works in speculative fiction. The club holds bi-weekly meetin s to read articles written by the members and to pin special events. The first such special event was the showing of the film Burn Witch Burn. Sport Queen The Boosters' Association held its Annual Sports Queen competition in the fall of this pastlyear.
