Health Careers Club For those students who intend to ursue a health career in the future, the Health Careers Clulb offers a general idea of the different fields available to them. It tries to get speakers on different aspects of such a career. The club as funds to offer a scholarship to a member of the club who has been in good standing for at least two years and who is going into t e health fie d. This year, the Health Careers Club assisted the Cerebral Palsy Center of Ridgewood during their annual campaign in collecting funds. Girl ' Choru The Girls' Chorus is composed of seventyftwo enthusiastic eighth rade girls. The girls sing in three part armony with accompaniment as well as without. Tuomala, T. Sehr, D. Ireland. The Science Fiction Club meets bi-weekly to discuss science fiction novels, stories, and movies. The club sponsors movies throughout the year, one of which was, 'Burn, Witch, Burn . A fan magazine, known as a fanzine, is being contemplated with articles to be written by the members of the club and other interested students. Science Fiction lub New wave versus old wave is just one of the literate topics discussed by the imaginative Science Fiction Club. While traditionalists think of Science Fiction in terms ofbug-eyed monsters and flying saucers, members of the Science Fiction Club have become aware of the more innovative works in speculative fiction. The club holds bi-weekly meetin s to read articles written by the members and to pin special events. The first such special event was the showing of the film Burn Witch Burn.
