It sponsors many diversified activities includ- ing the construction of a school in an underdeveloped area in Africa. At the end of the year, the SCA awards scholarships to worthy seniors who are going on to college. X ...- 21S 595 joan Morrell congratulates inductee Debbie Mahmarian. Danny Brash reads the Honor Society Pledge at the November induction of new members. The National Honor Society unites those stu- dents who have demonstrated exceptional ability. Members are judged on their scholarship, leader- ship, service and character. Since only a small percentage of the student body are accepted into the society, it is a great honor. The simple candle- light ceremony of the induction completes the emphasis on these ideals. '
