WAKEFIELD HIGH SCHOOL wAxeFieLo, MASSACHUSETTS 01883 246-1370 RAYMOND U OSBORNE DR JOSEPH Fi SARDELLA Principal Assistant Principal tlwfsilsfp e f Josepi-1 M suLLivAN 1' ' Assistant Principal Principal's Message To: The Members of the Class of 1986 ln this volatile and ever changing world of the nineteen-eighties which has witnessed global disruptions of all kinds - social, political and military in nature - we are all strongly motivated to seek a safer, saner world in which to live and work. The basic concepts which led to the creation of our country and our so- ciety have not changed. These ideas are still prevalent in our schools and are reflected in our fundamental beliefs. We hope they will serve you, as they have others, as a guideline in the years beyond high school. A belief in equal opportunity for all, both in education and the market place A belief that hard work and honesty have their own rewards A belief that tolerance and reason can overcome and begin to solve problems A belief that we as individuals count for something in the scheme of things A belief in our country and the opportunities it affords A belief that we are responsible for our own lives and our own decisions A belief that we should take care of ourselves physically and mentally A belief in, or faith in something beyond mankind. I wish each of you success in whatever you choose to do. May your lives be productive and may you find fulfillment. My sincere congratulations to the members of the 1986 graduating class! Sincerely,
