Mizell SFM2 DIV R Division is comprised of Damage Control men, Shipfitters and Machin- ery Repairmen. Although the division is the smallest on Wainwright they have one of the most important tasks, that is, the main- tenance of the ships watertight integrity, the repair of the shipls hull, and the manufacture of repair parts that are not carried aboard ship. They are also responsible for the training of the ship's repair parties. The Shipfitters manufacture and installvari- ous necessities and are responsible for making major repairs on the ship 's hull.
