DESRON FOURTEEN STAFF During much of the cruise, Comdesron Fourteen, Commodore Yonkers, was embarked on WAIN- WRIGHT. The dozen or so officers and enlisted of his staff quickly be- came familiar sights around the ship, on liberty, and in their messes. The Desron staff, normally based out of Mayport, Fl., rode USS MacDonough throughout the initial months of the cruise, coming t0 WAINWRIGHT in late July, al- though Dr. Robbins rode .WAIN- WRIGHT from the beginning. As the battle group returned home, most of the staff flew off to ride USS Forrestal into Mayport- THE JOB ISN'T FINISHED . . . - . un- til the paperwork is done.
