Band Active Under New Director This year was the first year at Wahoo High for director Mr. Bill Reece. He helped boost the band by getting them involved in some new contests and by letting them do some fun things, too, like taking a trip to see the University Marching Band Clinic in August. During the marching band season, the band marched at football games and received an excellent at the Pershing Marching Contest. Also, this was their first year at the Band Masters contest at UNO. In October, the band marched in a pre-game show at Nebraska Wesleyan and went out to eat afterwards. During the concert band season, the band held four concerts at the school plus the band picnic at the City Park. They received another excellent at the District Music Contest. Also, this was the first year in a long time that we have had a stage band at Wahoo High.
