'Brigadoon' a Brigadoon was the name of the school musical for this year. Marcia Havelka, Dan Thompson, Ann Divis, and Dave DuBois were the main leads in the musical. Marcia played the part of Fiona, Dan played Tommy, Ann played Meg, the flirt, and Dave played Jeff. There were 31 students involved in the musical this year. It turned out to be a big success. There were 18 band students that were involved in the pit band for the play, which was an important part of the play. Suzie Christensen played the piano. Bob Arp and Dian Reece were the directors with Christi Carr the student director. The background consisted of trees, heather on the hill and Scottish scenery. Mrs. Sempek's art classes constructed and painted the scenery. Musical Success 1. The lull castol Brigadoon watch the wedding of Jeanne (Stacey Motes) and Charlie (Darrin Pad). 2. Flon (Marcia Havelka) and Tommy (Dan Thompson) sing a love song to each other. 3. Jenny and Dan meet In a New York restuarant to discuss their wedding plans while Dave and Kris discuss the trip. 4. Sue and Jenay mourn the death of Eric.

'Tom Sawyer' Is Spring Production The 1983 Wahoo High Drama class, under the direction of Mrs. Connie Dillow, chose the ever famous play Tom Sawyer for their Spring play. The play entailed all of the adventures of Tom Sawyer (Eric Gottschalk), Huck Finn (Dave DuBois) and all their friends. The famous white-washing scene, the school room episodes, the pirate adventure on Jackson's Island, the graveyard experience, the risky event in MacDougall's cave, and even the sensational return of Tom and his friends to their very own funeral were all brought to life on the stage. Other main characters were Joe Harper, (Bill Hancock); Ingin Joe, (John Hansen); Becky Thatcher, (Janet Delay); and Aunt Polly, (Sue Curda). Local and rural schools attended the performance in afternoon matinees. 1. Tom (Eric) finds Ingun Joe (John) as Becky (Jan) waits Impatiently. 2.
